City councilman: condemnation litigation costs top $10 million

With the end of the city’s condemnation suit nowhere in sight, Missoula City Councilman Harlan Wells has seen enough. “I am so against this whole Mountain Water acquisition, especially the way that we’ve gone about it,” he told KGVO radio. Wells noted that litigation costs for the city have surpassed $10 million — “12 times greater than what the mayor thought it would cost.”
